For over 25+ years, my goal was to help empower and educate women in the persuit of financial freedom and independence. As a financial advisor, I led complex projects, managed multimillion-dollar portfolios, and built relationships across industries. But my passion was always design.
I developed a passion for interior design at the foot of my mother, who was a well known designer in the southeast. Something called me to return to school to pursue higher education in design. I graduated as a valedictorian with a degree in interior design.
I launched Ashley Anderson Smith Originals to blend business acumen with aesthetic vision — pairing structured project management with timeless interiors that reflect my clients’ lives and aspirations.
Inspired by fashion, art, and nature, I approach each project with clarity, creativity, and heart — ensuring your home is both stunning and effortlessly livable.

We’re based in Highland Park and work with clients throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Depending on the depth of the project, Ashley wil travel in order to best serve her clients. We have projects currently in Louisiana, Florida and Alabama.

Do you offer virtual consultations?
Yes — we offer video consultations with the same personalized guidance as our in-person sessions.
How much do your services cost?
Every project is different. After our initial conversation, you’ll receive a tailored proposal based on your scope, timeline, and preferences.
Do you work with contractors or trades?
Absolutely. We collaborate with trusted professionals and can also work alongside your preferred team. For large-scale renovations, we provide design oversight throughout.
Can you work with my existing furniture?
Yes. We often incorporate favorite pieces into a new design to create a fresh yet familiar space.
How long will my project take?
Consultations are typically delivered within 1–2 weeks. Full-service design and renovation timelines vary, but most take between 2–6 months from concept to completion.
